London Retail Store Manager

Salary: 27k - 35k per annum. (Full Time)
Contract: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: REGULATION Store, 13a Bateman St, Soho, W1D 3AF

REGULATION is the UK’s leading gay fetish retailer. We source and manufacture a wide range of sex and specialist fetish products. Understanding our niche and the community we serve is essential to our success.

As store manager in our flagship Soho store, you’ll be responsible for the day to day operational tasks that ensure the smooth running of your store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding stock control systems and ensuring they remain accurate and reliable.
  • Ensuring an excellent standard of customer service is delivered at all times.
  • Know your team - coach and lead to deliver great customer service.
  • Manage team availability, absence and holiday.
  • Providing 1 to 1 feedback for your team.
  • Recruiting, training and developing new and existing staff.
  • Ensuring the store merchandise is attractive and easy to understand from a customer perspective.
  • Ensure the store remains compliant with important licensing and legal requirements
  • Taking time to understand the wider business, monitoring where strengths outside the retail store can be used to improve store performance.
  • Regularly communicating store issues and plans with other department heads.

About You

  • You will be an experienced Retail Store Manager
  • Be confident in your communication skills with both staff and customers across a wide range of topics and issues.
  • Be tidy, organized, and know how to manage and prioritise a variable workload environment. 
  • You will be customer focused and sales orientated
  • You will be an excellent team player and lead from the front
  • Be fully comfortable with IT led systems.

Latex Garment Assembly Technician

Salary: Subject to experience
Contract: Part/Full Time, Freelance (in house)
Location: REGULATION HQ, Unit 11B Uplands Business Park, London, E17 5QJ

REGULATION is London's premier fetish brand, specialising in British made latex and leather menswear. We are looking for a Latex Garment Assembly Technician to join our production team, on a part or full time contract or freelance basis, (2 - 5 days per week Mon-Fri) depending on the candidates preference.

The successful candidate will ideally have 2-3 years minimum experience in prior manufacturing/assembly roles working specifically with latex. Hourly pay will be reflective of current experience levels.

Duties
  • Assembling and finishing latex garments to a high standard; including but not limited to, Catsuits, Hoods, Jocks, Tops, Leggins, Shorts, Trousers, Chaps, as well as other smaller accessories.
  • Organising own workload to ensure work scheduling runs smoothly
  • Monitoring and reporting material/hardware inventory levels to production manager
  • Occasionally performing repairs and alterations to latex garments.
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining quality standards

    As a freelance Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our brand. Your creative talents will be put to use in designing eye-catching marketing materials that tell our brand story and engage our customers. From digital assets for our e-commerce platform to social media visuals, your work will be at the forefront of our brand's design language.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Create visually stunning and impactful marketing materials, including social media graphics, banners, promotional images, and email templates.
    • Collaborate closely with our marketing team to develop and execute design concepts that align with our brand identity and resonate with our target audience.
    • Translate creative briefs into compelling visual designs that communicate our brand values and product offerings effectively.
    • Maintain a cohesive visual style across all design projects, ensuring consistency and brand recognition.
    • Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and iterate on designs.
    • Stay up-to-date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance your creative skills.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Proven experience in graphic design for marketing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and previous work.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design tools.
    • Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with the kink scene and an understanding of its aesthetics and community dynamics (highly desirable).
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Remote work experience and a flexible approach to project timelines.
