Latex Garment Assembly Technician (Full Time)

Salary: £9.89 - £12.50 p/h Generous staff discount. NEST Pension.
Hours: Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week.
Contract: Full Time

REGULATION is London's premier fetish brand, specialising in handmade latex and leather menswear. We are looking for a Latex Garment Assembly Technician to join our production team, on a full time basis (37.5 working hours per week Mon-Fri).

Requirements

The successful candidate will have prior latex manufacturing experience of some kind. Full knowledge, training and experience is a plus but not necessary as we will provide on the job training to hone those skills towards the requirements for the products we work with.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong practical, hands-on skills
  • Good spatial reasoning
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Comfortable with using sharp hand tools

Duties

  • Assembling and finishing latex garments to a high standard.
  • Organising own workload to ensure work scheduling runs smoothly.
  • Organising cut garments by date and type for other team members to work from.
  • Monitoring and reporting material/hardware inventory levels to production manager.
  • Occasionally performing repairs and alterations to latex garments.
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining quality standards

Requirements

The successful candidate will have prior latex manufacturing experience of some kind. Full knowledge, training and experience is a plus but not necessary as we will provide on the job training to hone those skills towards the requirements for the materials we work with.

Duties

  • Assessing customer's garments in need of repair/alteration, deciding how the work will be done and providing a quotation for the work.
  • Submitting quotations to customers and if necessary, discussing the costs and repair. options with them via email or phone.
  • Preparing documents to accompany the garment.
  • Washing, drying and talcing garments before repair if needed.
  • Performing repairs and alterations on latex garments.
  • Organising own workload to ensure work scheduling runs smoothly.
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining quality standards.
