About Bad Dragon

Bad Dragon Logo

Based in the USA, Bad Dragon was born out of a strong desire for a greater selection of fantasy toys to be made available to everyone. Their stellar reputation for producing visually appealing, robust, high-quality toys has made them a firm favourite amongst fantasy toy lovers and beyond.

This is a perfect accompaniment to the Ovipositor. Our 100% platinum silicone egg mold includes spots for 6 gelatin eggs. Each egg is about 1 ⅝ in diameter and 2 ¾ in total length, and each mold produces a gelatin egg that resembles a “cyber” egg in design. Gelatin is not included.
What you will need to prepare Gelatin eggs:
  • Unflavored Gelatin (4 one ounce boxes or 1 eight ounce box) avoid using gelatin with color or sugars
  • Water
  • Glass/Pyrex 4 cup/32 oz Measuring Bowl/Cup with a pourable spout
  • Wooden spoon (something that will not scratch the saucepan while stirring)
  • Saucepan 1 to 2 quart
  • Clean and assembled Gelatin egg mold
Instructions for making Gelatin Eggs with the mold:
  1. Measure 24 ounces of water into a Pyrex 4 cup/32 oz Measuring Bowl/Cup with a pourable spout.
  2. Open the box(es) of unflavored gelatin and open 16 packets or 4 ounces of the powder into the water.
  3. Mix for 10 minutes. The powder should completely be dissolved in the water.
  4. Set a burner on your stovetop to low/.medium heat.
  5. Place the 1—to 2-quart saucepan on the stovetop and watch carefully. Stir constantly but do not boil the mixture. In approximately 10 minutes or less, you should see steam.
  6. Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool until it is slightly warm,
  7. Pour the mixture into the Pyrex 4 cup/32 oz Measuring Bowl/Cup with a pourable spout.
  8. Be sure your egg molds have been assembled before the next step.
  9. Use the pouring spout to fill your gelatin egg mold through the openings at the top.
  10. Set the molds in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.
  11. The eggs are easiest to use while cold and retain their firmness.
